In Love: Meet the McArthurs, Again...

In a recent post, I introduced you to the inspirational McArthurs. Here they are again on their 2nd Wedding Day: 51 years later. These two decided to celebrate their 50th year of marriage not just one day, but for a whole year!, hence, the 51st vow renewal ceremony.

This was definitely a day to remember for a few reasons. First off, Hurricane Irene joined us on the occasion, but she didn't ruin a thing! Second off, the guests came from all over the world to share in this special day with the happy couple. 

This was my first major wedding event, and I am so thankful to the McArthurs for allowing me to join them for this wonderful day :)

In Love: Meet the McArthurs

This photo shoot was the kind that really inspires a photographer, not necessarily as a photographer, but as a person. The McArthur's celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary this year, and asked me to photograph their vow renewal ceremony and dinner event. They wanted to get some pictures before the ceremony event to use for the CD cover of their favors, invitations, and decoration. I met the McArthur's at their house for the shoot. How was I inspired? By their very evident selfless love for one another. It's not everyday you meet a couple who has in been in head over heals love for over 50 years :)
